Zing Fling On-line Auction

Amazing Auction: Welcome to Amazing Things' 2007 Auction Fundraiser.  This on-line auction features donations by local artists, businesses, and the Amazing Things Arts Center community.  This fundraiser is the most important of the year to Amazing Things as it supports our operations and helps us continue to bring Amazing artists to the local community.

Where and When: The on-line auction begins early in September and runs until midnight on October 18 - be sure to visit the site often to view and bid on a host of exciting items! And, watch for new item announcements throughout the auction period. Some items will only be available for bidding at the "live auction" to be held at our annual membership meeting, election, and Zing Fling celebration on October 20. The election (members only) will be held at Nevins Hall in the Framingham Memorial Building (Town Hall)at 6:30 p.m. All are invited to the reception, entertainment and the live auction, which will start at 7 p.m.

Great Works of Art: All items can be viewed on the web site. Many of the donated ART pieces can also be seen in person at the October Gallery Show, "Art Works for Amazing," at 55 Nicholas Road. The gallery show is open noon to 6 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday every week.

Auction Details:

1. Bids are made in whole dollars and in $5 - $25 increments (depending on the value of the item bid). Bids are commitments to Amazing Things.

2. Highest bidder for each item will be notified at the conclusion of bidding on the evening of the Zing Fling or by phone on October 21.

3. Please bring payment and identification at time of pick-up: cash, check, American Express, Visa or MasterCard.

4. Pick-up dates are Sat. October 20 until 11 PM, after winning bidders are announced; and Tues. Oct. 23 & Wed. Oct. 24, from 12 Noon until 7 PM both days.

5. You will be asked to register with your name, phone and email for both the on-line and live auction. A phone number is necessary to confirm winners.

6. We reserve the right to hold items, with low bids (less than half an item value), for the live auction. If you are an on-line bidder for such an item, you will be notified and given an opportunity to bid live or submit a proxy bid for the live auction.
